OFF Piotrkowska is like Manufaktura’s rougher, tougher, little brother. Here, the old factory buildings are more distressed and the restaurants and bars are more vibrant. Spółdzielnia has big factory windows and distressed white brick walls. Red neon completes the post-industrial feel.
As much a bar, with cocktails and shots, Spółdzielnia is also a sociable place to eat with a youngish clientele. You’ll find an extensive menu of hearty meals, including pasta and pizzas, burgers and, curiously enough, corned beef sandwiches. The prices are a little high, but it’s a great area for sitting outside on a summer’s night. Also, the venue opens at 9.30am for an excellent breakfast.
