For Japanese food with high-quality ingredients, Ato Sushi is probably the best in Łódź, with an experience that starts the minute you walk in the door.

Freshly prepared to order with carefully-sourced ingredients, you can believe the Ato Sushi promise to deliver high-quality dishes. The menu explains where each item comes from and why they have chosen it over more usual sources. Gifu rice, for example, doesn’t crack like Italian or Vietnamese rice tends to. It’s not cheap, obviously, but the portions are surprisingly generous. Nor is the menu strictly sushi, as delicious soups, noodles, and starters are available too.
Ato Sushi is also well located, in a side street off ul. Piotrkowska, close to the Grand Hotel. The wood and stone materials give the interior a clean minimalism, and the lighting is intimate and relaxing. Even the plates, bowls, and cute cat chopstick props are part of this cool aesthetic. It’s a good idea to reserve in advance.
