Anatewka – Manufaktura
The two Anatewka restaurants in Łódź reach back into the city’s heritage with a menu reflecting the Jewish influence on the local cuisine. Dishes include beef cheeks marinated in kvass, varieties of shakshuka, and baked cauliflower with pomegranate, pistachio, and tahini.
This branch is housed in the Manufaktura district of red-brick factories but the restaurant interior harkens back to a 19th-century Jewish interior, with wooden beams, chandeliers, and period paintings on the wall. If you book for Sunday lunch, there is live music from 2pm.
If you’re closer to the centre of town, try the other branch of Anatewka instead.
