Formerly a film studio and now part of a hotel complex, the mid-sized Wytwórnia is one of Łódź’s best live music venues.

Located as part of the DoubleTree by Hilton Łódź hotel complex, Wytwórnia is a medium-sized live music venue on Łąkowa, to the west of the city centre. If you’re coming for a show, you can bundle the hotel in with the price of the ticket. It’s not all rock and pop. The listings usually include plenty of tribute acts and even the odd bout of UFC.
The venue is boxy, with seating split across two balconies on either side and one facing the stage. There is a main area which is either standing or seated, depending on the event, and sometimes shows are staged in the round. The sound is generally good, though I have heard complaints about the occasional performance. The lighting rig, however, is pretty great.
