Located in a colourful courtyard, directly off ul. Piotrkowska, in the very heart of Łódź, the Stare Kino Cinema Residence has a very unique design. Drawing on the city’s cinematic heritage, each room is themed around different films and eras, with bright and bold, somewhat retro interiors. There’s even a tiny cinema in the basement.
Each room is completely unique, with small kitchenette area. Most have single or double beds, but the one-bedroom apartment can accommodate up to four. The restaurant serves Italian and Polish dishes, as well as a very good breakfast, and extends the cinematic theme, with a gallery of legendary Polish film posters. Everything about the hotel is unique. Note, however, that you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs, as there’s no elevator.
