With every kind of crêpe and pancake, sweet or savoury, for late breakfast, brunch, lunch, or an evening meal, Manekin is a storybook restaurant with a lot of kid appeal.

With a quirky interior that harks back to the city’s fabric and industrial age, Manekin is probably unlike any restaurant you have ever been to before. Somewhat surreal, there is a cabinet of bowler hats and furniture based around trams, as well as giant buttons and illuminated houses. It’s a charming space that totally works. Beware, though, it gets very busy, so there can be a wait for the food to arrive.
Breakfast is served from 10am until midday, after which an extensive menu of crêpes and pancakes take over. You can pretty much devise your own meal, as plenty of sweet and savoury extras and sauces are available, as well as Polish soups and salads. The crêpes are big and square, covering most of the plate, that are almost like a kind of inside out pizza. The kids will love it!
