In the Stare Polesie district to the west of central Łódź, the Keja Pub is a unique and atmospheric fisherman-themed bar with regular live music.

Similar in some ways to the Iron Horse, the Keja Pub is an atmospheric music venue with an incredible interior. But, where the Iron Horse is a temple to motorbikes and rock music, the Keja looks like a 19th-century fisherman’s pub, with nets draped over the bar and seafaring objects all over the place. As with the Iron Horse, there’s a similar feeling of stepping outside time.
The live performances here are folkier, with some blues and world music. And, fittingly, there are regular sea shanty concerts, which are a lot of fun, and open jam sessions. Find out what’s on from the official Keja website. You can eat well here, too, witha hearty fisherman-themed menu.
