A visit to the thermal baths is one of the quintessential treats of a visit to Poland. Hotel Termalny offers splendid 4-star rooms right next door to a water park, with a sandy beach adjoining the property. The hotel itself is utterly contemporary, bright and airy, with lots of clean lines and intelligent design choices. With unique tilted windows and natural surfaces, it has the cool glamour of a Ken Adams’ Bond set.
Single rooms are available and the hotel has a good restaurant with a delicious breakfast, as well as a range of cuisines at other times of day. Some of the double rooms come with a spacious terrace. The bathrooms have a pleasingly simple white tile design. If you want to visit the thermal spa, you could make a day trip from Łódź, of course. But, if you have your own transport, the best option might be to break up your holiday with a few nights in Uniejów.
