While the exterior of Hotel Pietryna has an elegant façade, right on ul. Piotrkowska, the interior design is a playful reworking of Renaissance-era Poland, with cheeky portraits on the wall and checkered tiling on the floor. Geometric shapes repeat through the furniture with a surprising (but pleasing) colour palette. Small sculptural objects add to the unique design.
More practically speaking, the hotel is clean and comfort has not been sacrified for style. The beds give a good night’s sleep and rooms have a sofa. There is an international restaurant onsite, open for all meals, as well as an excellent breakfast and high tea. Single rooms are available and a couple of fantastic apartments. It is also quiet despite its central location and free parking is available.
