Galicja’s menu takes inspiration from the historically-shifting borders of Central and Eastern Europe, and offers hearty and homey dishes for the hungry.
Galicja Restaurant
Galicja is the historical name for the geographical Austro-Hungarian region that took in parts of present-day Poland and Ukraine, and represents the ever-shifting borders of these countries. As you’d expect, the menu here reflects the regional specialities of the area, with broths, goulashes, and Żurek – a sour soup served with boiled eggs, as well as handmade dumplings and a range of hearty meat and fish dishes.
The restaurant, too, harks back to an earlier age, with a tiled stove, fabrics hanging from the ceiling, and period wooden furniture, made by Galician crafts people. You can also try a tasting selection of authentic Galician beers. The restaurant is located in the Manufaktura complex.
