This quiet neighbourhood in the north of Łódź might be a little too far from the centre for some, but these attractive one-bedroom apartments include a living room, excellent bathroom, and kitchen area. (Check availability and pricing on Booking.com or Agoda.com).
Handy for the Litzmannstadt Ghetto and other points of interest to the north east of Łódź, the Art House has all the facilities you’ll need for a small home from home. The apartments are new and feature a kitchen area with an oven, stovetop, and dishwasher, as well as proper crockery and utensils. Self-check-in is fuss-free with a door code. You’ll also get a decent WiFi and TV with Netflix.
Although compact, the space is well designed, with a comfy sofa breaking up the space between living and kitchen area. The beds are also large and comfortable. This is very much a residential area, with small blocks of flats and, like much of Łódź, it is still under redevelopment. It’s not the most convenient location if you want to spend a lot of time in the centre of the city, but there are lots of parks nearby and places to eat out, and on-street parking if you have your own vehicle.
Art House
If you’re a couple with a young child, many of these studio apartments have a large double and a sofa bed. And although the district is still a bit rough round the edges, it’s a good choice if you want a retreat.
