If you’re new to the Hawaiian poke bowl, this cool and intimate restaurant might be the best way to get acquainted. A hidden gem amongst the Łódź eating scene.
Aloha Poke
This may not be the easiest place to find, but it’s worth the effort, not least for the cute Hawaiian interior. You need to walk down a side street running between the main roads of al. Adama Mickiewicza and al. Tadeusza Kościuszki. It doesn’t look very promising from the street, but once you go through, you’ll find surfboards and a warm “aloha”. There are outside areas too, sandwiched inventively into the limited space.
The menu is built around design-your-own poke bowls with a fish or tofu base – duck and octopus are subject to availability – in medium or large sizes. These rainbow dishes offer a scrumptious mix of healthy ingredients, with a real journey of flavours. You can also choose from delicious Pho soups and Hawaiian cocktails. Excellent desserts as well.
