While there’s no shortage of places to eat around the Manufaktura district, Al Dente is an upbeat space for a social meal. The food is Italian-based with a few tempting luxuries.
Al Dente Pasta & Prosecco Bar
Tucked between the Museum of Łódź and the luxury Vienna House hotel, the Al Dente Pasta & Bąble Bar (‘Bubbles Bar’) is one of Manufaktura’s many restaurants.
The interior is distressed red brick, something of a theme in the city, with large lamps and strings of bulbs hanging from the ceiling. An abundance of plants and rough wooden bar give the place a summery ambience. There are some fun design elements, such as a glass-walled kitchen with a view of the food being prepared.
Italian dishes anchor the menu, with homemade pasta and Neapolitan pizzas, but there’s a lot of variety, including roasted Pacific oysters, Caribbean cocktails, and a full menu of bubble-based alcoholic drinks. It’s a good space for a group of friends, who want food with their drinks (or drinks with their food), but there are also hearty choices for a family sit-down.
